• One of the more difficult aspects of the dash was making the wood to follow the curved windshield outline. I segmented the curve into pieces about 4 inches long, angle sanded them to fit each other, then riveted the piece to the metal strip at the window.

• Then I joined other pieces to make as straight an edge as possible, to join to the rest of the dash.

• Since I was building a dash, I decided to customize it to better position the gauges, etc. The resulting dash itself sticks out as much as the original, EXCEPT for the sides, where the roll cage can later be moved forward.

• Here we see the back and front of the mid-section. I needed to keep the Super's original shape to accommodate the fresh air system.

• Note: I lost the pictures of the metal framework used to secure the dash.

• View of the right side. Needs finishing. Used the glove box design to house front right speaker. Since no room left inside, I added a hinged top glove box for storage. Still need to build the inside box for that.
