The seasoning below works for French Fries, hash browns, or scalloped potatoes.
Fried in an iron skillet. Use two Russet potatoes, cut into about ¼ inch slices.
1. 2 tsp. onion salt
2. 2 tsp. smoked paprika
3. 1 tsp. garlic powder
4. ½ tsp. dried oregano
5. ½ tsp. dried thyme leaf
6. ½ tsp. dried basil
7. ½ tsp. ground pepper
8. ¼ tsp. red pepper flakes
1. Heat up skillet, add about 4 Tbl. olive oil.
2. Dust cut fries with paprika, add to skillet. You’ll probably have to do two batches.
3. Brown well on all sides. Remove to paper towel to drain of oil. Sprinkle with seasoning above.
