Prizmacoat is the most amazing custom paint ever released. It is versatile enough to go over a black base paint all the way to straight on chrome. Prizmacoat contains a unique pigment additive which explodes into a myriad of colors and hues when viewed in sunlight or under direct incandescent light. Prizmacoat works great as a background or in graphics. Try applying different Candy Concentrates over Prizmacoat to retain it's dazzling effect and unleash other color spectrums. The examples show a speedshape with a graphic mask. It is coated with Prizmacoat then different candy colors to achieve these incredible effects.

• Begin by prepping the surface as you would for any paint job (prime, sand, etc.)

• Apply your choice of base colors. (For the most dramatic “pop” we recommend Stylin Basecoat Jet Black).

• Allow the base to dry as recommended (usually 10-15 minutes. Air dry).

• Apply 2 light “dusting” coats of the Prizmacoat.

• You will now want to shine a bright light on the surface to decide if you have achieved the desired effect. If so you can now go on to the next step, otherwise add more coats as desired being sure to apply in “light” coats. (Applying Prizmacoat too heavily will cause the Flakes to “stack” and ruin the effect.)

• Allow the Prizmacoat to dry. Usually 5 minutes. Air dry.

• Apply the recommended Speed Clear.

Over an existing chrome finish:
a) Clean the chrome completely with alcohol to insure a streak free finish as any imperfections will remain indefinitely after topcoated.
b) Apply 2 light “dusting” coats of the Prizmacoat.
c) Shine a bright light on the surface to decide if you have achieved the desired effect. If not add more light coats as desired. Applying Prizmacoat too heavily will cause the flakes to “stack” and ruin the effect.
d) Topcoat the Prizmacoat with Clear4Chrome to insure durability over the chrome and preserve the finish.
