Self-Etching Epoxy Primer

Gray epoxy primer ... for before you paint! Primer is used to increase the adhesion AND performance of your base paint, which sprays over the primer. Alsa’s Epoxy Primer is a two-component, non-isocyanate primer with superior corrosion resistance and excellent adhesion to metal applications. Epoxy Primer is available in gray. Use as a metal treatment or a sealer. Can be applied over cleaned aluminum, galvanized steel, stainless steel or over appropriately sanded blasted carbon steel, sanded fiberglass, and sanded OEM e-coat primers. Epoxies have the best bonding and produce a nonporous surface. Alsa’s epoxy primer is mixed with hardener and medium urethane reducer at a 4:1:1 ratio. Spray in 2-3 coats, dry for an hour, then wet or dry sand.
